"Perfection! A Wonderful villa, true to the description given on the internet. Finished to a very high standard, with everything we could have wanted, even local guide books, board games and blow up Li-Lo's. The owners have thought of everything and finished it to a level you would wish at home. The villa is within easy walking distance of a choice of several tavernas, all serving excellent Cretan food. A village bakery selling freshly baked bread and pain du chocolat, a must for breakfast. Delicious honey can be bought straight from a large container (no pre packaging here), from the traditional local shop. We enjoyed a day trip to Chania town, we chose to go by car but the bus is a possibility.For us the best bit was the luxury of awakening to the day with marvellous views over the Gavalahori village to the sea and having perfect peace and quiet until sitting at the end of the day looking at the picturesque White Mountains.
