We have been well dressing in Sutton, near Macclesfield,  since July 2001, when a pre-school fundraiser turned into an annual event.  We have dressed a number of boards around the village via our formal association and registered charity although since 2007 we have been restricted to dressing a single main board as we were unable to use the village Scout Hut for preparation of the boards.
